Jana: the 5th Month

• sleeps from 8pm - 6am. She wakes up every 3-4 hrs for her milk.
• Pag gising na sya, walang sawang dumadaldal. Wala kang choice kundi laruin na sya. Kasi kakalabitin ka rin naman nya o kaya hihilahin yung damit mo.
• Nangingilala na. Ayaw na sumama sa Tita Ninang. Pero pag ke Tito Jay (na minsan lang naman nya makita), sumasama sya.
• Today is her first time to sense that I am leaving her, so she cried. I carried her and she smiled. I put her down and she looked at me till I was at the door, she cried again. Kawawa naman.
• Before her 5th month, she was able to consume 4 oz of formula for 5 days. Yep, Mommy is still trying very hard para purely breastfeed sya.
• Speaking of formula, sinuka nya yung NAN 1 HW on the 3rd day. 4th day, ayaw nya. 5th day, ayaw din nya. Hay kaloka. She's now getting used to Enfalac Lactose-free.
• 30mins na lang ang nap nya :(
• looks intently when someone is eating sa harap nya. Parang curious na ewan.
• She has better control with her hands. Namimitas na ng mga nakasabit sa harap nya.
• Loves her hotdog pillow :)
• weighs 7.5 kg
  

3 Years and counting

Be, wala na ako masabi. Alam mo naman lahat di ba. I cannot imagine myself without you.
Thank you so much for everything. I'm still so much in love with you.

Anak, akin yata yan. Tigasin ka, ginugusot mo lang ang roses ha.

Hubadera Talaga

It has happened

One of my fears as a new parent is the inevitable -- Pompy will get sick.
And she did. She is.

We thought it was an ordinary colds but Pedia said it was an acute rhinitis. On top of her heavy breathing, she is suffering from another upper respiratory problem. Kawawa naman. Lalo na sa gabi, when you know she has a hard time breathing.

Good news is she's still a happy baby! hehe parang walang iniinda.

Malikot at palatawa pa rin.
Pero namamasa ang mata at tumutulo ang sipon.

Anak, I'm proud of you. Fighter agad a. I hope you feel better soon.

Jana: The Heavy Breather

Ok so after 10 yrs, we were able to see Pedia-Pulmonologist Dr. Arniel Suratos sa clinic nya sa BF Homes, Pque last Sat.

Ang verdict, wag na daw mag-alala. Jana is constantly gaining weight (she's 7.2kg right now. That's 600grams in 11 days) and her skin is moisturized (?) naman daw. Clear ang lungs. Walang sign ng asthma or allergies as of the moment. Though 70% ang chances that she'll get it (family history kasi). Malambot pa daw kasi ang mga buto nya... in less than a year, titigas na.. and...di ko na masyado magets ang explanation nya. Pag maingay na yung hininga nya, ibahin na lang daw yung karga sa kanya or yung pwesto nya so she can breathe better.

Basta ang naalala ko lang ng malinaw, "wag mag-alaala". Mawawala din daw ang maingay na hininga nya before she turns 1.

Thank you na rin kung ganon. Happy baby ang Jana. I pray to God she'll stay a healthy baby :)
