Jana: the 13th Month

Recently, Jana wakes up in the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes at 3am, sometimes at 4. She would nurse for about 20mins, with eyes wide open, and try to get back to sleep. If unsuccessful, she would start crawling down the bed and play. Lie on the floor like a snow angel, or point to any object that catches her attention. Clearly, that means that I have to be wide awake too. Yes, 3am is the start of my beautiful mornings nowadays.

She eats more meat now. No more mashed veggies. Our table food is her food :) Healthy snack: grapes, melon, papaya, marie, Gerber fingerfood.

Is eating Krispy Kreme Original Glaze every saturday. She remembers the paper bag so she if sees one, she knows, and you better give it to her.

Drinks mama's iced tea during weekend lunch.

Eats Mcdo french fries during weekend snack.

I haven't witness her walking yet. When we're together, she'd embrace my legs and follow me wherever I go. Parang tuko na nakakapit. So I'd carry her and she will have more things that will take her interest. She'll point and say "MM! MM!". One time i said "Later anak." And she replied "Leyler?"

Ang daldaaaaaaaal. Nakikipag-usap in foreign language hehehe.

Doesn't nurse as often as before. Sa gabi na lang ata sya talaga interesado magdede. During the day, even if she likes to nurse, a lot of things around her interests her so she'd leave me after nursing for about 2 mins =( and play play play.

In the middle of the night, she would transfer from the left side of the bed to the middle, just beside her daddy, and go back to sleep. parang sleep walk (or sleep crawl in her case). Sweet nilang dalawa. Pagkagising at nakita ni Jana na malayo ako sa kanya, lilipat sya agad pabalik sa akin. To the dismay of her father. Hehe.

Still sleeps at around 730pm.

Me rashes sa katawan. As advised by her pedia, yung last buhos ng tubig contains constarch.

Medyo nawiwili na sa TV. Pinapagalitan ko ang yaya at ang tatay. Mga adik sa tv kasi. Amp!

Breastfeeding

isn't it a wonder that a mother can provide everything that her child needs?
so sa mga nagkocomplain na magastos ang magka-anak, think again.

Little Feet, Little Steps

Just got a word that today, Jana walked her first step. Four little steps to be exact.

Sayang, di ko nakita. And di naman na-video ni En.

(Anak, 48 hours kitang kasama nung weekend. 3 hours after I left you for work, tsaka mo napili gawin yang milestone na yan... tsk.)

Ingat ka lagi baby. I get the feeling you'll go way,way farther than the distance of the sofa to the center table someday ;)

Pompy is Kikay

Si Pompy, nakaabot lang ng 1 yr, kung ano ano na pinag-gagagawa.

She saw me putting purple nail polish last saturday. Pauso naman ang ama, lagyan din daw ang Pompita.

Yung dalawang hinlalaki lang.

Natapos din. Tingin si Pompy sa kuko nya with curiosity. Tas titingin sa kuko ko. Nagtaka ata bat mas madami sakin. Pinalagyan din nya lahat ng daliri nya. Tsaka hahawakan. Eh di mabubura na naman. So lalagyan ulit. Tas hihipan ko. Tas tatawa. Garutay!

Pagdating ng gabi, bago matulog, hinahaplos pa rin nya kuko sa hinlalaki nya. Tas kinabukasan, tinatanggal ko na using acetone. Hinihila ba naman yung bulak. Ayaw ipabura. Bwahaha.

Ngayon, wala ng cutix sa paa si Pompy. Pero hinahanap pa rin nya. Tsaka na lang anak. Ikaw lang ata ang 1 yr old na kulay talong ang paa.

Jana: the 12th Month

• is 9.8 kilos and 77 cm small
• still needs support while walking
• is super daldal, wala naman kami maintindihan
• puts objects next to her right ear (kunyare fone)
• loves to turn on/off the aircon thru remote control tas tatawa
• natuto na magtaas ng damit ng mama nya pag gusto dumede tas tatawa
• prefers rice and ulam than cerelac or giniling na bigas
• sobrang takaw sa gerber finger food... as in.
• still sleeps at 730pm and wakes up at 530am. ayayay.
  
• loves balloons. ang saya-saya nya. minsan kinakagat nya kaya pumuputok. buti di sya nagugulat.
• ayaw na umupo pag naliligo. kelangan nakatayo at nakahawak sa timbang kasinglaki nya.
• expert sa pagbaklas ng Avent Manual Pump
  
• may sariling track pag naglalakad. starting point, sala. end point, kitchen. paulit-ulit, di nagsasawa.
• madalas pag nauuntog or nasasaktan sya, di na umiiyak. big girls don't cry siguro themesong nya like ate faye.
  
• etong batang to, alam pumindot ng mga on/off switch. yung spin a wheel na laruan nya, naiingayan ata sya, kaya lagi nyang pinapatay. sya din taga door bell. taga on and off ng ilaw. di naman namin tinuruan.
